Softball game change:3/31/11 Thursday  Softball  Varsity & JV vs North Medford  will be played on the USCellular Fields  – game time is 2:00


We will have a team meeting on October the 23rd at the Dugout in Central Point, OR.

If you are a returning bowler please bring your uniform from last year. I need to get them collected so I know what I have and don’t have…

The Dugout is the Old Cyber Center Building..It is located behind Southern Oregon Subaru and in front of Cascade Christian High School. It will be at 12:00 PM.

Please be there if at all possible.

Come on out tonight (TUES 10/25) and support your Crater Comets Volleyball team at 6:00 pm for a Play-In game as the girls take on Crescent Valley! No passes or Student Body Cards are accepted at these games, Adults $6 and Students $4. We will also be selling the camo shirts and sweatshirts tonight for Friday’s “Camo Out” football game. Shirts $10 and sweatshirts $25.

After the volleyball game, stay and watch our Boys Soccer team take on Eagle Point at 7:00 pm. It’s also their Senior Night!

FRIDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL!!!! This Friday, 10/28, come out and catch our last home football game as your Crater Comets take on the Churchill Lancers. Winner advances to the Play-Offs! Gates open at 5:30 pm, kickoff at 7:00 pm! This is a “Camo Out” game, shirts and sweatshirts will be for sale at the game…it’s also their Senior Night!

Lots going on this week, we would love to see you at the games!!!!!

Winter Sports Sign-Ups

Winter Sports tryouts are November 14th. The sign-up book is now available in the Athletic Office. Yellow Athletic Participation Permit w/ Code of Conduct and a current physical must be on file in the Athletic Office prior to trying out.

Crater Cross Country wins again!

Congratulations to the Crater Boys Cross Country team for their 1st place win over 18 other schools (256 male runners entered) at the annual Max King Cross Country Invitational held at the Jackson County Expo last Wednesday! As individuals, the boys took 7 of the top 11 places.

   Friday Night Football

  Sept 30th at 7:00 pm

Your Crater Comets will be playing Eagle Point this Friday, 9/30, in our first home Football game of the season! Game starts at 7:00 pm, gates open at 5:30 pm and it’s an “ORANGE OUT” game so come in your orange Crater attire. Reserved tickets are $7 and General Admission $6, District Family Passes and Fall/Winter Passes are accepted just pick up your tickets at one of the booths.

McKenzie Sewon will also be here selling Crater shirts and the FIRST 50 PEOPLE through the gate will receive a free t-shirt!


The new scoreboard is up and running and is FANTASTIC, we will also be honoring our community sponsors during half-time. So come one and all, it will be a great night of Football!

We will no longer be doing online registration for Crater Athletics through FamilyID. The Athletic Office will re-open Monday August 8th. Paperwork can be picked up in the office or printed online. Registration form (Participation Permit), Code of Conduct and a current physical must be on file in the Athletic Office in order to receive their “Blue Card” to tryout for Fall Sports. Fall season begins Monday August 15th!

Congratulations to your Crater Comet Baseball team for winning last night’s 1st round playoff game at Anhorn Field against Hillsboro!

We’ve ordered beautiful weather for you, so come out and watch them take on Churchill for a quarterfinal playoff game at Anhorn Field this Friday, 5/27, at 4:30. When they win this game, they’ll be advancing to the semi-finals next Tuesday:):) Location to be determined.

Cost for these playoff games are as follows: Adults $6, Students $4….no passes or Student Body cards will be accepted.
