BOYS BOWLING INFORMATION

We will have a team meeting on October the 23rd at the Dugout in Central Point, OR.

If you are a returning bowler please bring your uniform from last year. I need to get them collected so I know what I have and don’t have…

The Dugout is the Old Cyber Center Building..It is located behind Southern Oregon Subaru and in front of Cascade Christian High School. It will be at 12:00 PM.

Please be there if at all possible.

Crater Wrestling & Cheer

Your Crater Comets had a very exciting last couple days!

The Crater cheerleaders went to the State Championships this weekend and placed 3rd in a very tough round of competition! Congratulations Comets.

The Crater wrestling team DOMINATED the League District Championships at Eagle Point HS. They finished with 10 District Champions and 21 State qualifiers, and ran away with the league title with a record 543.5 points.  The second place finisher (Thurston) came in with a distant 309 points to put it in perspective! They will be heading to State the end of the month.

Our repeat District Champions Zeth Brower, Hunter Grant, Logan Meek and Jace Godley were joined on the podium this year by Hunter Hiatt, Dallas Howard, Nathan Santoni, Logan Lowder, Tony Flores and JT Gill.

Congratulations also goes to Coach Greg Haga who was named Midwestern League Coach of the Year!!!!!!

Best of Oregon/Washington

Yesterday (Sunday Nov 20th) the Crater boys XC team won best of Washington/Oregon!  Nike put on a meet at the Nike Campus called Borderclash that had the top (Invited only) 90 boys/ 12 teams from the Oregon and Washington State meets.  Our crew beat North Central, Washington by 20 points and the top Oregon school (Sunset) by 90 points.  Also beating Summit by 100 points.  Very proud of these guys!

Crater Cross Country WINS STATE!

Congratulations to our men’s Cross Country team for winning their 6th STATE TITLE this past weekend! This is Crater’s first since it ended a string of five in a row in 2010. Andy Monroe led the pack by winning the State’s biggest race by 26 seconds!

Exciting News from Crater Athletics!

Congratulations to our Cross Country team for their sweep at the District meet last Thursday!

  • Varsity Men’s Team 1st place! 6 of the top 10 runners were our Crater boys, led by Andy Monroe with an impressive 1st place finish followed by Derek Tripp in 3rd.
  • JV Men’s Team 1st place! 4 of the top 5 runners were our Crater boys, led by Ryland McCullough with a 1st  place win.
  • Varsity Women’s Team 1st place! Arianna Marks ran away with an impressive 1st place win.
  • Women’s JV Team 2nd place! Congratulations to Jade Hopkins for her 1st place win.

Good luck at State this Saturday!

 

Congratulations to our Varsity Football Team, what a win last Friday night! And our Student Section ROCKS!!!!!

If you missed the game last Friday night, you missed a good one! Our Crater boys took Churchill down 40-21 and secured a spot in the Play-Offs this coming Friday Nov 4th. The game will be held at Summit High School in Bend at 7:00 pm. You can also catch the Comets taking on the Storm on Table Rock Sports!
