Coach Loftus – COACH OF THE YEAR!!!

Boys High School Coach of the Year for the state of Oregon for the 2017 Cross Country season!!!!!

This honor is based upon the performance of the Crater High School team through the 2017 season and is a reflection of the hard work and dedication of the student athletes, the coaching staff and the administration of the school.

Congratulations Coach Loftus for this well deserved award!

Division 1 College Signing Announcement

Crater High School is excited to have two Division 1 signings this Wednesday, Nov 8, at 4:00 pm in the Crater gym lobby. It is very rare that we have two athletes sign with Pac-12 schools at the same time.

Andy Monroe will be signing a letter of intent with Stanford University on a Cross Country scholarship!

Logan Meek will be signing a letter of intent with Oregon State University on a Wrestling scholarship!

Please come and join them to offer your support and congratulations!

Crater Cross Country WINS STATE!

Congratulations to our team on their second straight 5A State Championship title win this past weekend in Eugene. Andy Monroe’s epic 1st place finish and time of 15:19 was the fifth fastest time for all classifications on this course! Also turning in very impressive runs for our boys team was Derek Tripp in 3rd with a time of 15:31 and Jantz Tostenson in 4th also with a time of 15:31.

Congratulations also to our Crater Girls Cross Country team who excelled and turned in a 3rd place finish, and to Ariana Marks on her 7th  place time.

We are so proud of all our runners!!!!!

Thank you to all who came out last night!

As you’ve probably heard by now, our team beat Crescent Valley 9-5 last night securing their spot at the State Championships this Saturday. #2 seeded Crater will be playing #1 seeded Churchill at 10:00 am at Volcanoes Stadium in Keizer. Tickets can be purchased online at www.osaa.org, click on the ticket icon, Adults $8  Students $5.

If you can’t make it in person, you can listen to the live broadcast free on OSAA or watch it live for a fee..

Crater Baseball advances in playoffs!!!!

Congratulations to our Crater Boys Track Team for placing 2nd overall at State this past weekend.

Congratulations also to our State Champions Andy Monroe (3000), Jantz Tostenson (1500) and Cal Duke (300 Hurdles)….who also set a school record at 38.21 seconds, almost breaking the State record!

Congratulations to our Softball team who beat South Albany last Friday night 10-0! They advance to the 1st round of playoffs this Wednesday 5/24 at 5:00 pm as they take on the Kingsmen at Putnam High School.
